Former AFN National Chief Phil Fontaine joins Board of One Earth Farms

TORONTO, Nov. 25 /CNW/ - (TSX: SCP) - Sprott Resource Corp. ("SRC") today announced that Chief Phil Fontaine, former National Chief of the Assembly of First Nations, will join the Board of Directors of One Earth Farms Corp. ("One Earth Farms") effective immediately.

Chief Fontaine is an Ojibway from the Sagkeeng First Nation in Manitoba. He was elected Chief at his home First Nation, Grand Chief of the Assembly of Manitoba, and was elected National Chief of the Assembly of First Nations three times. As National Chief, Phil Fontaine advocated for greater engagement by the business community with First Nations peoples, a role he has continued since he stepped down as National Chief in July 2009. Since his retirement from public life, Chief Fontaine has founded his own consulting practice and, in September 2009, was appointed as Special Advisor to the Royal Bank of Canada.
